We recently adopted a 4‑year‑old Doberman rescue with some aggression issues, and Balanced Paws has been incredible. Their team specializes in true behavior modification—not just basic training. They worked closely with our dog, but even more importantly, they taught us how to handle and guide him at home. No shock collars, no prong collars—just effective, positive behavior work that truly makes a difference. Lincoln and the entire staff are professional, patient, and easily the best dog behavior experts in the area. I highly recommend Balanced Paws to anyone who not only needs help with their dog, but also wants to build a stronger, healthier relationship.Posted on Google Sharon Wilson2026-03-19Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Absolutely the best place to learn about being a good dog parent. Very practical and informative teaching, not only for the dog, but most importantly for the humans in the room. Well worth the time and commitment to have a pet you will be proud of. The dogs come away with amazing pride in themselves !Posted on Google Wendy Gabriel2026-02-01Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We have been a client with Balanced Paws for a year now and are so appreciative of everything! We made the mistake of adopting 2 puppies at the same time and realized we were not fully able to manage on our own. The staff at Balanced Paws has been instrumental in helping us navigate the first year with them. Thank you so very much.Posted on Google Alex Snyder2026-01-23Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I honestly think the trainers at balanced paws are magic! I took a training session with her and learned a lot about how to interpret my dogs behavior (German Shepherd) and why she might behave the way she does. (I call her my shouty introvert:) ). She now does bootcamp. I really feel like they have got to know her so quickly and are so kind to her and me! Thanks for looking after Marley balanced paws!Posted on Google Ligma Sigma2025-12-05Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Shoutout to Lincoln and Megan at Balanced Paws K9 Training. Their professionalism is next level and they’ve treated Annabelle’s training with real expertise, not guesswork. My girl has made huge progress and we’re already planning more advanced work with them. If you want trainers who know what they’re doing, these two are it.Posted on Google Maria Castillo2025-11-27Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Balanced Paws Changed Everything for Us! I began searching for a dog trainer who specialized in reactivity after several scary experiences with my 70-pound puppy. She had started lunging, barking aggressively, and even biting me during some of her worst moments. That’s when I found Balanced Paws online, and from the first moment I contacted them, I felt like I was finally talking to experts who understood exactly what we were dealing with and how to help. I took Coda for a 30-minute assessment with Lincoln, and he immediately reassured me that she wasn’t a “red-zone” dog, she was scared. From that point on, he helped me understand why she was reactive and how to actually help her. It completely shifted my perspective. After our assessment, I joined one of their group classes, and I loved their approach so much that I started taking Coda to Boot Camp as well. Everything they taught made sense to me, and I genuinely wanted to learn from them. Coda has improved so much! I’m amazed every time I see their Instagram lives and spot her calmly hanging out among dogs in the pack, not showing aggression or reactivity at all. Even our daily walks have gotten better, and I finally feel like we’re on a great track toward making her more confident and controllable. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Balanced Paws: Lincoln, Megan, and the whole team. I recommend them to all my friends and colleagues whenever they share struggles with their own dogs. If you go to the assessment, take in their guidance, and you’re willing to do the work (because a lot of the work really is us learning and changing, not just our dogs), then this is absolutely the right place for you. I also want to mention something about a previous review claiming they push anti-vaccination ideas. I was there for the group discussion about vaccines, medicine, and food, and I never once felt pressured. I actually appreciated the knowledge, the resources, and the studies they shared. They encourage us to research, learn, and make our own informed decisions, not to blindly stop vaccinating or drastically change our dogs’ diets. I’m reading more now about food and vaccinations so I can make my own choices, and I’m grateful that they provide information to help dog owners make educated decisions. Balanced Paws has created an amazing community, and I’m so happy to be part of it. I even plan to keep bringing Coda to Boot Camp long after she improves because the socialization and activities are so good and healthy for her. I truly hope you give them a chance, they’ve made such a difference for us!Load more
